C20-1920 1920 Simple Jacket
6-piece pattern originally from the January 3, 1920 edition of Mode Pratique. This is a ‘simple’ jacket due to its A-line cut which is cinched at the waist by a horizontal dart in each coat front (the dart concealed by the belt going round the waist) and the belt trimmed with a decorative button at each front side.
All instructions translated into English. The original French instructions are also included.
This pattern is for the more advanced sewer as instructions are very basic and lightly illustrated.
The cuffs and removable collar may be cut in faux or genuine fur. The coat is embellished around the hem with tone-on-tone contrasting embroidered silk (motif not included). The collar is slightly modified in the fabric sample shown.
The pine cone or enlarged floral motifs from this may suit well for this coat.
5/8" seams are given.
Size:
Size 16 fits 34" bust, 28" waist, 37" hip.
