Buzz Rickson Men's Short Sleeve Ecru Chambray Shirt U.S. Military Style BR35857
This shirt is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) by Toyo Enterprises. Body pattern is uniquely designed and inspired by the U.S. Navy military chambray shirts modified into short-sleeved versions. The original US Navy blue chambray utility shirts ( vintage military workwear ) worn by sailors throughout WWII in all theaters were only produced with long sleeves, but some sailors took it upon themselves to have their shirts modified into short-sleeved versions. The original US Navy shirts have blue chambray fabric and long sleeves, but this shirt has been replaced by ecru color chambray fabric and short sleeves.

Fit : This shirt is cut to Slimmer Fit for a more fashion-forward looks than Classic Fit. Fits may vary by style or personal preference

Material : 100% cotton, One washed, ecru color neppy chambray fabric.
Fabric Type : Made of a one-washed non-stretch light-weight ecru neppy chambray fabric with a slubby texture, crispy feel and sophisticated wrinkles on the face of the fabric. This chambray is a plain weave fabric woven with a ecru yarn in the warp and a ecru yarn in the weft. This fabric has a natural, breathable plain weave fabric woven from cotton fibers. The selvedge chambray is produced on vintage shuttle looms also replicating the vintage America design. The T-shirt is washed once for a fashionable vintage feel and look, and to ensure consistent sizing, thus these are the final size fitting and it is ready-to-wear. The more you wear, the more fabric will continue to get softer and cozier.
Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance.
Placket type : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. The buttons are ecru color urea 2-holes dish buttons.
Bottom hem type : Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with selvage gusset, and double twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge, a classic detail found on authentic work shirts. This detail was found on work shirts of the 1930s-1950s and is believed to have been used to reinforce the hem.
Storage : This classically-styled shirt features twin chest open-top patch pockets with button closure and rounded lower corners. Reinforced pocket openings.
Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.
Back of the shirt : No pleats.
